Being 40 is empowering. I know myself better, with greater confidence and emotional maturity. I’m more independent, prioritizing what truly matters and letting go of unnecessary pressures. I’ve found a sense of balance between work, relationships, and self-care. I embrace my body, health, and beauty with renewed confidence. At this stage, I feel more aligned with my values and goals, allowing me to live unapologetically and with purpose.
How do you stay fabulous?Mindset is everything. To me, being fabulous means staying authentic in all areas of my life. By doing so, I can uphold boundaries, prioritize what truly matters, and focus on what I can control. This reduces my mental, emotional, and physical stress, which we all know greatly impacts our overall well-being. Eating well, staying active, regular massages, and a solid skincare routine—especially with top-quality sunblock don’t hurt either!
What would you do with the $40,000?I’d start a community for women redefining what it means to be in your 40s. You’ve seen the meme showing how women in their 40s lived in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s vs today, right? The focus would be on modern challenges for women in their 40s today. E.g. women who choose not to marry or have children are no longer pioneers—more are making that choice. By connecting with those who’ve already taken this path, others can learn from their experiences, the good and bad, and feel empowered.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
