I just turned 40 on July 7, and I must say, I love it here! Being over 40 is all about owning my power and living my life to the fullest. I’ve ditched the “shoulds” and embraced what I want — whether that’s running my own business, giving talks that inspire, or just living unapologetically fabulous, multiple sclerosis and all. The confidence, self-assuredness, wisdom, and freedom that come with this age? Chef’s kiss. I'm thriving and loving every minute of it!
How do you stay fabulous?My recipe for staying fabulous includes embracing a childlike sense of wonder — even in my big age — and making my well-being and mental health top priorities. I work out with my personal trainer to keep both body and mind strong. I jump at every chance to make new memories and try new experiences, because life’s too short not to. Through Poppy + Monarch, I create products that help those with invisible illnesses feel seen. And every day, I make sure to share laughter with my husband, Daryl.
What would you do with the $40,000?First, I’d invest some of the funds into Poppy + Monarch to create new products that help those with invisible illnesses feel truly seen — spreading a little extra sparkle where it’s needed most! Then I’d grab my husband, Daryl, pack our bags (don’t forget the sunglasses), and jet off to Santorini and its neighboring beauties. Exploring those stunning blue and white landscapes has always been a dream. Because what’s life without pursuing your heart’s desires and making unforgettable memories?
