I’m past the early decades of finding myself and people-pleasing. I finally understand how to set personal goals and how and who to invest my time in. I choose to do things that make me happy and I avoid things that don’t. I’m finally realizing that I don’t have to live up to anyone else’s expectations except my own. The emotional freedom to do as I please has come to full fruition and it’s liberating and beautiful.
How do you stay fabulous?Being fabulous at any age means loving yourself first, being selfish at times, and making sure you are well taken care of by you, yourself... before you even think about taking care of others. It is putting yourself at the heart of everything you do. I believe that there is so much joy in being a single mother, and my son is my biggest teacher. My personal yoga practice has been one of the most consistent and transformative things I’ve ever done in my life, it keeps me grounded.
What would you do with the $40,000?As a single mother & only bread winner of my household this money would simply change my life and my sons life. To have any cushion financially to land on is peace in itself! We would also take a small mommy/son getaway to celebrate!
