Time has taught me to love the being that I was, I am, and what I am becoming. Getting older is a gift, as the other option is well, non-existence. I choose to celebrate the journey and embrace the challenges and changes that occur with aging. I love the skin I am in. I no longer engage in diets or weightloss trends or even exercise fads, to me getting older is about adopting the habits, daily practices and creating my own holistic products that enable the body to do its job the best it can.
How do you stay fabulous?I choose love and gratitude everyday. I choose to see the magic and be present and be the full authentic me. That's really it. I don't think anything is more fabulous than someone being their best self.
What would you do with the $40,000?I went back to graduate school, at Harvard, two years ago and am studying human transformation/metaphysical healing for my Master's Degree. I would love to create a small center to offer individuals access to holistic tools of healing, whether its meditation, learning to make personal organic beauty products, to sound healing and reiki sessions; my dream is to create a spiritual and holistic healing center where women (and men) can come and learn ways to heal themselves without pharmaceuticals.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
