What do I love about being fab over 40. The first word that comes to mind is EMPOWERED. At this point in my life , I am in total control of my life . Ask any of my friends and they will confirm that I have no difficulty in speaking up for myself if I need to. I am a well seasoned “Fab over 40” and that has empowered me to live life to its fullest. The only limitations I have are the ones I impose on myself. This is my time , I am able to do what I want without reservations. Make life fab!
How do you stay fabulous?First and foremost start your day with a positive attitude about yourself! I start my day mindfully. I set my intentions that my say will be amazing. I than make sure I participate in something physical, pickleball, Zumba, cardio,yoga for at least an hour . I consider this my therapy . It helps solidify what the rest of my day will be . I love my career and my children . And FRIENDS, my tribe , my litmus test . They all keep me grounded.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would go back to my birthplace , Quindici with my family. All my family on my mother’s side still lives in southern Italy . I would take my children and their families back to my hometown . I think being able to sit together at a large table with their cousins would be a phenomenal experience. I want them to appreciate the culture of their ancestors. It would be wonderful for them to see the house I was born in , the church that I was baptized and my parents were married.
