The expectations I had for what success looks like have been refined in my 40s to a palatable wine. Success isn’t always the highest pay in my career or being the most recognizable in the bunch. Success is instead about caring for and challenging those in my path. And “caring for” and “challenging” are interchangeable because true leadership is doing both simultaneously.
How do you stay fabulous?Ha ha. If I’m considered fabulous, I can definitely attest to not always feeling fabulous. I hope I keep a consistent tension between the reality of my own mortality with another reality of the here and now. I’m healthy and excited, so going for “it” is fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?If it were a million,”I’d buy a green dress.” However, with 40 grand, I’d invest it in a female owned business that is inspiring other women to be their own fabulous.
