Being confident in who we are and what we carry is what makes a person fabulous after 40, our worth is so much bigger than a number.

I love that I am able to really understand my worth and be secure in that identity regardless of what others say or think in our culture today. When we are secure in our worth and self accepting, we can celebrate others as well without feeling insecure, jealous, or competitiveness towards them. Therefore, we can live life more abundantly, and experience so much joy and freedom in our lives. Because, freedom and joy are really connected to being accepted, knowing that you are loved.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by prioritizing my mental, physical and spiritual health. I make sure to schedule rest days where I can be still and be with God to pray, meditate, and get refreshed on every level. I try to unplug from social media, work on my days off to ensure proper rest and that actually creates space for my creativity, and ideas to flow about what I need to get done the following week, months, or days ahead. I also enjoy journaling and do self-care to ensure I am refreshed.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would open a private practice to teach others how to care for their mental, spiritual, and physical bodies. Since, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am big advocate for mental health so I would continue to provide therapy sessions, but expand with a facility by adding group therapy classes that facilitates teaching on the importance of caring for our mental, physical and spiritual states. Then, I would hire others staff to teach breathing exercises, stretching, and relaxation.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
