I love the idea of aging gracefully. Not just in looks but in the way you mature over time. In my 40’s I’m proven that size doesn’t matter as well as age. You can accomplished so much more because mentally you’ve matured.. You look at things in a different light than before your 40s.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by dedicating my time to the dancers and students around me. For a decade I’ve taught dance, and had the privilege to make a plus size dance group famous, Honeybeez. It kept me on my toes. It made my brain sharper by developing so many concepts and ideas for shows. Also, it surrounded with loving young beautiful women who looked up to me so I always showed up as my best. They were the shining light in my life. Plus, they never knew my age. I guess that kept me fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to start a community performing arts center. Where it gives students who are under privilege to be able to come and learn the arts from credible artist/teachers, like myself. I was a former art and dance teacher. When Covid hit a lot of those programs were taken out the public schools. Most programs left are for magnet students, which make it unfair for students in public school settings.. I would also like to start my own clothing line as well, featuring plus size clothing.
