I’m a stained glass artist & educator. My goal is to open a creative space to teach, create and build community! Winning will manifest this!
We would like to thank you for supporting Anna Holliday in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
The wisdom of the years that have passed and the ability to harness this wisdom in the second chapter of my life. These are the best years to explore uninhibited and carefree. I’ve worn many hats thus far including DJing, managing large music venue, coffee houses and personal businesses including my art business Owl & Birch. All of my life experiences have created a beautiful tapestry of who I’ve become.
How do you stay fabulous?Art, teaching and interacting with students keeps me grounded. I hike, shoot archery with my partner and love nature, staying grounded helps me thrive!!! Also the older I get the less I care about how others “see” me and the more I settle into me, no masks and authentic self love and respect.
What would you do with the $40,000?Open a studio/workshop. I have a dream to own my own shop to create in and teach stained glass. I’ve learned that within the classroom I have students of all walks of life and experiences creating art and friendships. It’s become a safe place to learn and share. Some are older single woman who otherwise would not venture out. My place would not only be functional but therapeutic.
