Staying in shape, pushing limits, crossing items off that bucket list & giving myself permission to be less then perfect
We would like to thank you for supporting Angela Eckman in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I love being unapologetically me. For years, I would “wait” for the next opportunity, “pause” for the necessary validation or “stand by” until everyone else finished. At 40, I’m giving myself permission to take myself off auto pilot and take the scenic route.
How do you stay fabulous? While exercising, eating right and drinking plenty of water are an essential part, the real secret is to have the glass of wine without feeling guilty, enjoying a relaxing evening without going through my errands list and saying “yes” to the things I’ve been putting off.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would give myself permission to take the trip that I’ve always wanted to take. The trip I’ve saved for so many times but dipped into when something or someone else has a need. The trip that forces me to use vacation time that I’ve saved but never use because my family might need me later. The trip that contains an itinerary only filled with my interests and not what everyone else has requested or needs me to coordinate.
