I raised 2 beautiful and successful daughters. I’m 46, put them through college all while waitressing on Bourbon street in New Orleans.

Being over 40 I have learned to never take life seriously and enjoy every moment I can with my family, friends, and loved ones. I’ve lived through the most amazing moments of my life, and also the worst. I love being over 40 because I can watch my girls grow up and become the young women that I aspired to be at their age. Being over 40 means that I can live life within my best potential and do things that my younger self strived to do.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by doing things that make me happy. Once you turn 40, you stop comparing yourself to others and treat yourself to all kinds of fun things. I love getting up on days that I don’t have work and putting on make up and an outfit I feel good in and exploring something new. I love supporting small local businesses whether it’s a taco shop in a strip mall or a local farmers market. I stay fabulous by doing what’s best for me and doing it with confidence.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I were to win $40,000 I would be able to send my youngest daughter, Lea, to college. My oldest daughter, Mya, is in College finishing her senior year in Mobile, Alabama. She is a hard worker and deserves nothing less. However, I can only afford to send one child to school at a time. With this money. I would be able to give Lea the same opportunity. She just graduated high school and is currently saving up money by working at a local grocery store.
