I love the wisdom and the fearlessness that the 40's provides. This stage in my life I am taking leaps! Putting in work to achieve dreams of entrepreneurship and service. Takeing more speaking engagements so I can share some my thoughts and knowledge. Time with family and friends are a priority. The days also seem to go by a little quicker in the 40s so I try to savor precious moments big and small.
How do you stay fabulous?The 40s teach us not to sweat the small things. I stay fabulous by first and foremost not comparing my self to anyone. I can only be me! I am discovering the art of self care and setting boundaries. In my 20s and 30s self care seemed like what I need to do once everyone else is cared for. I have learned I have to take care of my self to take care of others. Also I am big on Networking! I love to make connections and learn from different people, it keep my mind open to more possibilities.
What would you do with the $40,000?I have a passion for geriatrics. My Entrepreneurial journey is to have several residential care homes for the elderly. My heart breaks when I hear sad stories about care that is given in most nursing homes. Every living adult should feel safe and cared for in a home / loving environment. The money will be invested in that business.
