At 18 I beat cancer! As a result, I have enjoyed the gift of 40 years of seasons, sunsets, travel, good food, and great times with friends and family. I have had the privilege of raising two wonderful human beings, and marrying my best friend. At 58 you begin to question the legacy you will leave behind. Knowing that through my work, I have helped tens of thousands of cancer patients and survivors around the world lead longer, more satisfying lives, fills me with pride and gratitude.
How do you stay fabulous?I do not take anything for granted; be it time, money, friends, family, or good health. I live by the golden rule and prioritize kindness, honesty, family, friends, and good mental and physical health above all else. I go for long walks in nature with my husband and our dog, ski, snowboard, paddle board, bike, and lift weights everyday (even on vacation) I eat a healthy diet, but know that life is about moderation and indulge in a glass of red wine with dark chocolate!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would take my 86 year old widowed mother, who is fighting her third breast cancer battle (this time stage 4) on a dream trip to the Amalfi Coast. She was supposed to go 4 years ago and lost the opportunity due to COVID. I want her to travel first class, have her dream trip and be treated like a queen!
