As a recently retired teacher, I love this time of being over 40 because I can now savor the stress free moments of doing what I want with NO deadlines. The moments of stillness to embrace life with a positive outlook keep me moving to a peaceful place of mind, heart, and soul. I believe the older you get the better you can grow and become a gracious human being.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is a mindset, having a peaceful heart and mind, and positive self-talk. Working the inside of emotions and thoughts, as well as the outside through fitness and health helps make a person ready to take on the challenges that the day to day life brings. Also, accepting and enjoying the process of aging. My strength, courage, and faith keep me fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the money to give our house a much needed makeover. After 24 years it is in need of some TLC. The extra money we do have is going towards my son's college tuition and rent. This money will be an added bonus to our finances. A dream would be to run in the New York marathon. Donating to a charity to participate would be a wonderful experience.
