I’m 62 years old and I feel stronger and wiser now than at 40, and it makes me wish us 60 year olds had a contest too.

I am more confident now than I’ve ever been. It’s not that I look better than I did at 40, I feel better. I’m more sure of myself, my style and my worth. I no longer fixate on others opinions of me. I’m comfortable in my skin and it feels fabulous! I like to dress well when I go out, but I go for classic styles rather than trendy throw away clothing.
How do you stay fabulous?I’m focusing on being present everyday, with family and dogs. I’m concentrating on health by going on walks in the forest park near our home and eating well. I’m also trying to age naturally. I don’t have any Botox or fillers in my face, nor have I had facial surgery. I’m not opposed to it, but I want to look like myself. I’ve spent too long chasing looking young, so I’m learning to love the skin I’m in. However, I am a skin care fanatic and I love trying new products. I love red light therapy.
What would you do with the $40,000?Breast cancer screening is invaluable. I’m hopeful that through early detection and treatment many lives will be saved. This contest is a fabulous opportunity to help. My heart goes out to all of those who are homeless and displaced due to the recent hurricanes that wreaked havoc across our country. I’m sending support. I’d love to put a down payment on a house for my child. In a purely personal matter, I’d love to treat my sweet husband to a European vacation.
