I am brand new to being 40 and I am so excited about entering this decade. I feel like you really come into your own. You juggle numerous hats from being a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, and additionally for me, being a beauty queen and an actress. Your focus and what you want is clearer. You are more aware of how fleeting time is and wanting to leave your mark. I want to become the face of Crohn’s disease and support as many of those affected by it as possible. I want to be the change.

I am finally learning to take my own advice and have a little “me” time, though I’m still figuring out the balance :) I sing, play piano, dance, bake, and write. But most importantly, I spend as much time as possible with my family. My girls and my husband (and our wonderful dog) help me stay fabulous because they are my universe, my inspiration, my motivation. I do it all for them, and I now do it all for me too. That last part is new for me, and I love that.

First I would pay off some of our debts so we can start over with a clean slate post pandemic. Covid turned the whole world upside down. We had to move out of Los Angeles and back to Maryland, living with my amazing parents for 3 years while getting back on our feet. I would then take the remainder and put it in accounts for my girls to start building them a foundation for their future. I want them to follow their true passions and callings in life. Helping set up their future eases my heart.
