I love this transitional chapter where I get to rediscover/reinvent who I am. I’m transitioning from the busy mom of 5 to some leaving the nest and the remainder being old enough that they don’t need me as much so I have this new things called quite and time back in my life.
How do you stay fabulous?I was born fabulous and while it’s a tough job some of us have to do it. I think more people need to dance in the kitchen, laugh at ourselves more often and smell the rain on the horizon because that’s how you know you are fabulous and alive.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would take my kids and family on a trip. We have never been able to afford to do that and to me that would be the most amazing thing to get to experience. I’d have to take my bestie and her girls too as she is a single momma rocking her role and could use some sun, fun and laughter too. I would also like to donate some to our local highschool scholarship fund and a local agency called Debrah’s Legacy. Debrah’s Legacy helps struggling women find their fabulous again too.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
