What I love about being over 40 is the clarity that comes with knowing who I truly am. At this stage, I’ve learned the beauty of embracing my strengths while honoring my flaws, understanding that both make me whole. I feel empowered by the wisdom earned through life’s challenges, and I’m driven by a sense of purpose to leave a legacy, not just for myself but for those around me. It’s a time when I feel fully in my skin, unapologetically me.
How do you stay fabulous?Fabulous is all about balance. For me, it’s in the power of taking care of myself from the inside out—mentally, physically, and emotionally. I stay fabulous through CrossFit workouts that push my limits, salon days that remind me to indulge, and staying hydrated taking the vitamins! It’s also about protecting my peace and making mental health a priority. Being fabulous is an act of self-love, and for me, it’s all about showing up as my best version.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I were to win, my first priority would be to reinvest in my business by opening a second location. This would allow me to create more jobs and continue making a positive impact in our community. I’m passionate about providing opportunities for others. ’d also set aside a small portion for a long-overdue mini honeymoon. My spouse and I got married during the height of COVID and, unfortunately, we weren’t able to have a wedding or honeymoon. Taking a moment for us would mean the world to me.
