Connect What do you love about being over 40?

I love the wisdom we come to know at this age. I had a great grandmother that was brought here from the Caribbean at the age of 14 that had to clean houses till she was wedded. My grandmother was a strong women working all her life and divorcing her husband at a time that wasn't acceptable. My mother and I lost my father I'm a car wreck and I have been taught so much from this long line of strong women to make it through do many obstacles life throws at you. Now I am a widow.

How do you stay fabulous?

I try to stay young at heart. Music and singing are a passion of mine ot gets u through so much. I love to share encouragement with other women by not putting them down but by encouraging them with words of affirmation we need that so much these days. I try to work out and do self care everyday. Loving my children and showing they can have their dreams come true. But self love and loving others is what is fabulous.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would invest in my future by starting a clothing line I have dreamed about my whole life. I would hire anyone with the same dream. If it became successful I would then invest money to help disabled women and help with st. Judd which is in Memphis, TN where I am originally from. I have a missionary heart. I want to see people smile these days. There is so much hate between people's I want to see them come together for the good of our country.
