The self-acceptance, self-love & confidence that comes at this age. You do not need validation from others to KNOW you're THAT girl. You grow into yourself during your 30s & by 40, you bloom. I am much more concerned about being true to myself, than I am about what would garner me popularity at the expense of my authenticity.
How do you stay fabulous?I invest in myself. I am a huge skincare buff, I invest time & money into that, so I feel confident in my own skin (literally). Purpose is important for our mental health, so I invest time into acts of service for causes that are dear to me. Relationships are important, so I invest lots time into my husband & children, to continue to grow & strengthen our bond. Joy is important, so I invest time & energy into making sure it's present in my life to balance the lows we experience.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would help our daughters, I would have a couple of dental procedures done that I've been putting off because of cost, and my husband and I would take one of our bucket list trips. My husband has selflessly supported & stood by my side throughout my Addison's Disease diagnosis, and has been so encouraging as I have navigated my new "normal" and pursuit of reclaiming my health. I would like to thank him with a trip of a lifetime.
