I love having the experience and community I do. I love getting to redefine what being 40 means for myself, my communities and those that come after us.
How do you stay fabulous?Focusing on my own health and wellbeing and that of all my loved ones. I had two types of cancer (breast and colon) in 2022, which was shocking and an incredibly hard time especially while also navigating raising kids, being an CEO, being a good partner and navigating my mom’s care. Today, I appreciate every day, every clean scan, every opportunity to do fabulous things and be fabulous (and be honest with myself and others when I am not feeling fabulous). Every day is a gift.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would save some for my kids and fund a research grant for a few students at the social work school my mom went to, who want to improve supporting families who don’t have a lot of resources and need to navigate care for more than one family member.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
