As you get older you care less about what everyone else thinks or are doing and you start to perceive life through a lens of happiness...most importantly, your own lens! That self acceptance you gain is priceless...you are in full control of your life and realize that every day is a new opportunity making possibilities endless. Definitely the confidence, knowledge and inner maturity, is what I love the most about being over 40... truly loving life!
How do you stay fabulous?I think being a mom keeps me young and on my toes for sure. Taking time for yourself is also essential in feeling fabulous...life can be hectic, but we always need to make time for ourselves. Take the time to do something for you and do something you enjoy...it's ok to be a bit selfish. We often do so much for others that we can easily neglect ourselves...we need to be mindful not to allow self deprivation.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would take a family vacation, share with my kids and donate to charity.
