I love being at the place in my life where I can feel pride in having forged a successful career as a cosmetics chemist and businesswoman. I love that I am able to draw upon my life’s experience and lovingly apply the wisdom (love + intelligence) I have gained to my personal and professional endeavors. I have learned that I must live without regret of the past or fear of the future. Only then am I able to experience and gratitude for the present moment.
How do you stay fabulous?I have learned that my outer world is reflection of my interior life. With the passage of time I came to gain better trust and appreciation for my own values. When I consistently act in accordance with my inner values and integrity, every area of my personal and professional life improves and expands. By consciously choosing to consistently live with integrity, I am better able to create and serve those around me my family and my community.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would continue my work of encouraging women to love themselves; right where they are in their lives, both inside and out. The name of my cosmetic company, “LoveYaCell” plays upon on that ideal that we must deeply love ourselves every day. I want to inspire woman to celebrate themselves; to release ourselves from regret of the past and fear of the future. When we do this, we can find gratitude in each day. With this approach, I am better able to encourage and support others.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
