What is Fab Over 40?

Learn More

What do you love about being over 40?

Being over 40 taught me to celebrate my journey—replete with lessons learned. I have a clearer sense of purpose and the courage to pursue fulfillment on my own terms. It comes with a solid emotional intelligence.

How do you stay fabulous?

It is a multi-faceted journey that transcends physical appearance. Despite being a wheelchair user, I embrace my identity with grace and confidence, emphasizing that true allure emanates from inner strength rather than external attributes. I focus on several key elements to maintain a vibrant sense of self. A positive mindset allows me to navigate life’s challenges elegantly, engaging with my interests and passions and allowing self-expression, and I surround myself with supportive individuals.

What would you do with the $40,000?

My foremost desire is to create an accessible home that enhances my independence. The significance of a living space that accommodates my needs cannot be overstated; it is not merely a matter of convenience but a fundamental aspect of fostering autonomy and dignity. I envision modifications that include a wheelchair ramp, widened doorways, and a bathroom designed for ease of use. These enhancements allow me to navigate my home confidently and independently.
