It's liberating and gives me a level of freedom to live my life more authentically than when I was younger. And gaining wisdom! I understand and appreciate now that wealth is not just monetary; true wealth comes from having good health and spending quality time with loved ones.
How do you stay fabulous?By embracing sobriety! After 51 years of living life infused with alcohol all around me, I made the personal choice to abstain from it - cold turkey! It has allowed me to be truly present and be the best version of myself. I am also enjoying traveling with my teenage daughters -next stop Barcelona! I stay active with yoga, lots of walking and spending time on our boat. And I love what I do - investing in real estate and working alongside my husband, who is also my best friend!
What would you do with the $40,000?My Mother passed away from metastatic breast cancer and I'd like to become more of an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research and would donate to such causes. And having two daughters in college at the same time is financially challenging, so I would use the money toward their education. (Go Hokies, VT!)
