I have Atypical Usher Syndrome type 2. I am going blind /deaf, but it does not stop me at all from living life as fabulously as I can.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jennifer Jones in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I appreciate the wisdom that has come with age. My usher syndrome can make life difficult. However, I have the strength and grace needed to face the challenges head-on due to my age. I also enjoy not being as concerned with other’s opinions and living life in a way that fulfills me. I also enjoy the sense of freedom I have to enjoy new experiences in life.
How do you stay fabulous?I take daily walks and swim in the pool for exercise. I have a facial care routine that I follow in the am and pm. I use sunscreen daily now. I also enjoy running my whatever vibes space on X to connect with friends and new people socially in a way that is easy for me with my challenges.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use a small part of it to complete the last item on my going blind bucket list. Which is a trip to England, Ireland, and Scotland to see all the historical sites. The rest would be put aside to earn more for our family. I have 6 children and in a few years, I will be an empty nester. My husband and I would love to be able to get an RV to make life easier and to travel after they all fly from the nest.
