After 40 I stopped caring as much about what “others” think. I feel more comfortable in my own skin and don’t rely on others for my self-worth. After being through loss and difficult times myself I’m also more compassionate and understanding towards others.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by expanding my horizons, learning about other people and other cultures. As a journalist, I’m naturally inquisitive. I love to travel to new places and go “off the beaten path” to really explore and learn about the place. I also stay “up” on the latest fashion and beauty trends. And I donate to charities to enrich others lives.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate a portion to an animal-related charity because that’s a cause I care deeply about. I’ve never owned a home so I would use some for a down payment to give me “roots” in future retirement. I would take a cruise to Alaska to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday!
