As a teenager, I had always viewed being 40 as being considered "old". Soon after I turned 40, I fell in love with this new lifestyle, the new "me". Raising 3 amazing children, I have been focused on being an active, involved Mother. As my children have grown older, I have a newfound love for life and living it to fullest accomplishing goals for myself I once only dreamed of! I am in the best shape of my life and I am dedicated to helping others achieve their goals and be a positive role model.
How do you stay fabulous?About 5 years ago, I decided I wanted to run a half marathon. After leaving a traumatic marriage, I turned to running. It helped me feel strong, clear my mind and stay focused. Part of my healing process, I woke up one day and decided to run my 13.1 miles, then did it again the next two months. My integrative health lifestyle today consists of eating healthy after losing 72 pounds, exercising, laughing, helping others, traveling and living a life I don't need a vacation from.
What would you do with the $40,000?I started up a women's group 4 years ago and it disbanded because of a failed marriage. I was helping women in my home weekly with trauma, childhood issues, and weight loss. I have also been around horses my whole life and sit on a Board of Directors that help people with anxiety, trauma, and life through healing with horses. I would use most of the money to contribute to helping others again whether through another women's group or horse therapy.
