What is Fab Over 40?

What is your favorite tip to stay fabulous?

Eat *lots* of vegetables, adopt a pack of senior dogs to adore, and always remember that you are a completely unique, one-of-a-kind expression of God's heart in the world. There is no one like you...and there never will be. You are loved into being, given as God's gift to the world.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Identify the environment in which you thrive, and then create that environment for yourself--even if it is counter-cultural to what everyone else is doing. Trust your intuition to lead you, for that intuition is God's Spirit within you, whispering words of guidance and wisdom. Learn to recognize that voice, cultivate your listening, and develop the courage to follow it.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I will use the $40,000 to fund a campaign to transform the teaching that excludes women from priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church--one of the most powerful institutions in the world. As the largest nongovernmental provider of education and healthcare in the world, one of the largest landowners, and an entity with permanent status as an observer state in the UN, whether you are Catholic or not, you are affected by the exclusion of women from priesthood. Help me win!
